ABOUT US

The
Innes Park Trading Post & Rhino’s Tavern is situated at Stenhouse Bay
within the Innes National Park. The Park
features as a haven for native flora and fauna and its spectacular coastal views
and good swimming, surfing and fishing beaches make Stenhouse Bay a major
tourist location in the southern Yorke Peninsula.
Stenhouse
Bay is a three-hour drive from Adelaide, situated just 5 Kms from the popular
tourist destination of Marion Bay. Sealed roads make it a safe and easy journey.
The Trading
Post is the only commercial premise within the National Park and it is situated
on the only road in and out of the park with signs leading to the premise.
The
Trading Post comprises two separate areas - Rhino’s Tavern, a small tavern
having front bar and restaurant with stunning views.
The other area is a general store, take away shop and fuel stop.
The
bar and restaurant have a casual atmosphere and boast beautiful views overlooking
Rhino’s Head and the National Park.
The restaurant is light and open with a large fire place and colourful
mural on the wall. There
is also a balcony with gas heaters for outside dining. The front bar is small
but cosy and has a takeaway liquor facility.
A large screen TV is great for watching sport and regular Friday night Happy
Hours make for a fun atmosphere. The general store provides groceries,
fishing gear, bait, fuel, gas refills, cigarettes, and take away food.
